Galaxies gaming sector to reveal groundbreaking advancements in table game creations, featuring Monopoly and Yahtzee as their innovations of choice
Galaxy Gaming Partners with Hasbro to Bring Iconic Brands to Casino Tables
In a groundbreaking move, Galaxy Gaming has entered into a multi-year licensing partnership with Hasbro to develop and distribute land-based casino table games based on Hasbro’s iconic brands Monopoly, Yahtzee, and Battleship. This collaboration is part of Hasbro's broader “Playing to Win” strategy, aimed at expanding its presence in the casino gaming sector.
The partnership marks Galaxy Gaming's first foray into adapting a non-gaming brand to the casino market. The company will be responsible for creating full-fledged casino table game experiences featuring these Hasbro titles, with the Monopoly and Yahtzee games expected to reach casino floors in the first quarter of 2026.
The Monopoly and Yahtzee table games will offer a fun and easy-to-understand twist on traditional casino games like Blackjack, poker variants, and others. These games will incorporate the play, feel, and symbols of the iconic Hasbro brands, enhancing the appeal of table game stalwarts.
Matt Reback, president and CEO of Galaxy Gaming, stated that the new games will go beyond just slapping logos onto table felts. "We're creating immersive, branded experiences that will allow adult audiences to engage with Hasbro brands in new ways," Reback said.
The agreement puts Galaxy in elite company, as Hasbro also awarded manufacturing rights for land-based Monopoly slot machines to Aristocrat Technologies. Evolution AB, whose purchase of Galaxy Gaming is expected to close soon, won development rights to Monopoly and Hasbro games for online slots and live casinos.
Bally's won online casino operator rights to Monopoly, while Reback believes that this partnership will help Galaxy set a new standard for innovation. He encourages operators to make appointments to see the Monopoly and Yahtzee table games in person at this year's G2E (Global Gaming Expo).
The "first editions" of the Monopoly and Yahtzee table games will be on view at multiple tables in Galaxy's G2E booth. Reback lauds Hasbro’s expansion of its brands across various platforms and predicts that a Monopoly game will attract casino customers who don't typically play the tables.
The Sapphire version of Galaxy's table games operating system allows operators to offer multiple jackpots on a variety of table games without affecting basic game play. Galaxy is set to debut Monopoly and Yahtzee adaptations for commercial casinos at this year's G2E, with a Battleship game planned for deployment in late 2026.
Reback referred to the Hasbro agreement as a strong endorsement "of what Galaxy is and what Galaxy is becoming." With this partnership, Galaxy Gaming is poised to bring a fresh, immersive gaming experience to land-based casinos, expanding the appeal of traditional casino games and attracting new audiences.
